The Background

A growing school district was struggling with purchasing expensive HP printer supplies and unreliable devices. The printers were a burden on the school's budget because they were being used for greater volumes than they were designed to handle and they carried a high total cost of ownership.

The Solution

By putting Canon ImageRUNNER multi-function devices on the school's network, MWOS made it easy for faculty to print to several key locations around the building. Another aspect of the solution was the use of the mailbox feature on the Canon imageRUNNERS that allows the faculty to send items to an assigned mailbox. The Background

A popular local bank was experiencing some growing pains as it added branches and customers. One of the issues was the large month end statements that took all night to print. It was an inefficient process that the bank decided they needed to reevaluate.

The Solution

Martin Whalen staff took the time to understand the bank's situation and realized that the overused HP printer they were printing on was costing them both time and money due to the machine's slow speed and the expensive supplies that constantly needed to be replaced. Part of the solution was replacing the printer with a high-speed Canon imageRUNNER 5070 multi-functional device that was able to do the job with less expense. The statement printing that had taken all night and required constant attention to correct jams and monitor paper and supply levels is now able to be done easily in just 3 hours.
