The imageWARE Web Document Server provides Web-based access to the imageWARE Document Manager database, allowing remote or traveling users to share digital documents via a standard Web browser. Unlike the imageWARE Web Viewer that is included with the imageWARE Document Manager Enterprise Edition for Intranet environments, the imageWARE Web Document Server offers update, annotation, upload, and download functions and it is designed for an Internet or Extranet connection. Distributed users can harness the power of desktop functions using an easy-to-use Web interface.

Two editions are available:

 
• imageWARE Web Document Server Workgroup Edition option for the imageWARE Document Manager Workgroup Edition 
• imageWARE Web Document Server Enterprise Edition option for the Document Manager Enterprise Edition.
